Many times there is a need to convert PowerPoint PPT presentation file to video format for free to upload it on YouTube, Vimeo or any other video sharing platform. But due to presentation's ppt extension we were no able to upload it as a video. Today I am going to show you a simple and free method to convert your PPT file to video. Please follow below steps:
4. Open your PPT file in OpenOffice Impress from File menu.
5. Once your presentation (ppt) file is open, go to File and select Export.
6. Now in Export dialog box select "Macromedia Flash (SWF)" format under "Save as type" drop-down.
Now you have a video format of your ppt presentation which can be played and uploaded as video. I hope above instructions are clear and will help you to convert PPT to Video format for free.

- Download Open Office, which is an opensource office suite same as Microsoft Office. OpenOffice is 100% free to use personally and commercially. Download OpenOffice from http://www.openoffice.org/download/
- Once your downloaded OpenOffice, install it on your PC.
- After successful installation, Go to Start menu and click OpenOffice and then click OpenOffice Impress which is same as MS Office PowerPoint.
5. Once your presentation (ppt) file is open, go to File and select Export.
